Bun Line Divider Operator - Sun/Wed-Sun/Tues 5:45pm - 5:45am - Golden West Baking Company

Golden West Baking is an English muffin and Bun products manufacturing located in Anacis Island. We are looking for a divider operator to join our team for Sun/Wed-Sun/Tues 5:45pm - 5:45am shift.

Pay will be $26.56 plus $1.50 hourly night shift premium.

• Complete Pre-Operational Checklist.
• Start, stop and adjust machines as necessary for optimum production.
• Maintain log sheets as required.
• Keep area organized, clean and sanitary. Empty catch trays, dust machines and sweep the floor during production when possible.
• Keep top surfaces of machines clear and clean.
• Clean all tools at beginning of shift and keep all tools in proper storage when not in use.
• Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) outlined for working in a food processing plant.
• Assist in general cleaning of machinery and plant facility as assigned when production is stopped.
• Work as a team and cooperate with your fellow team members at all times.
• Fill flour use-bin daily.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure the Proofer Pan Alarm is set up correctly for each pan.
• Ensure no double dough balls, or messy pans enter into the proofer.
• Check and record the dough ball weights for each dough (every 20 minutes)
• Recycle dough in the recycle bins as soon as possible.
• Report any Product Loss, Time Loss, QA Issues, or Mechanical Problems to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
  
  

Working Conditions And Physical Effort:

• Able to work in fast paced, high pressure environment
• Able to physically lift 25kg weight consistently
• Able to work in a warm environment (uniform, safety and work attire provided by employer)
• Must be flexible with the start and end times, shift timings can change as per business needs.
• Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
• Work environment involves regular exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
• Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Son, will be provided
