Audio Visual Technician

We are looking for an experienced AV Technician to provide technical support for our client's upcoming banquet hall event on September 11th and 12th. This role involves setting up, troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper functioning of all AV equipment used during the event.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and test AV equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, and lighting systems.
• Troubleshoot any issues with audio, video, and lighting equipment promptly.
• Ensure high-quality sound and visual output throughout the event.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to meet AV needs and expectations.
• Perform pre-event checks and live monitoring during the event to address any technical issues that may arise.
• Dismantle and pack up equipment after the event.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an AV Technician, particularly in live event settings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues quickly.
• Proficient in operating a variety of AV equipment, including soundboards, projectors, microphones, and lighting consoles.
• Knowledge of signal flow and audio-visual signal processing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Availability to work on the specified event date and at the specified location.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in AV technology or related field.
• Experience in a banquet hall or similar event venue setting.
• Familiarity with live streaming and recording equipment.
