Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator position focuses on assisting in maximizing profit and sales by planning and coordinating the projects from start to finish, liaising with dispatchers and site supervisors to ensure that the appropriate technicians are assigned for the various stages of each job and that the project is completed in a timely manner. Additionally, the coordinator will be contacting and scheduling the sub-trades to ensure the scope of work is followed within the provided budget.
The Project Coordinator is also responsible for customer contacts, directing and creating job files and working with our Xactimate estimating software. The individual is also responsible for entering and updating relevant data into the software and generating progress reports to update clients.

Compensation
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per annum (based on experience)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction/restoration projects from start to finish according to requirement specifications, schedule, and budget.
- Preparing and submitting construction/restoration project budget estimates.
- Preparing project progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients.
- Tendering, hiring, and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
- Contacting customers or homeowners to gain and pass on project information.
- Liaising with our internal Flooring department, PC Flooring, and project management team.
- Communicating with departmental managers, supervisors, and project management team site managers.
- Working with different departments’ dispatchers to ensure field technicians have the required paperwork, scope, and information needed to carry out work and create any work orders.
- Managing all job-related documents in the office for all jobs and filing them.
- Working with our project management software, Restorify.
- Working with our estimating software, Xactimate, to enter sketches, and scopes, and create estimates.
- Liaising with your teams’ Project Manager and Project Administrator to coordinate, schedule and or manage sub-trades, as necessary.
- Assisting the project manager in maintaining the information in all job files, and work orders, sending out weekly progress reports to clients, and tracking all other paperwork and documentation.
- Overseeing, monitoring, and processing all property keys given by clients.
- Reviewing and monitoring various project-related invoices as they are generated for projects.
- Passing on invoices, after initial review, to the respective Project Manager for their final sign off.
- Creating or reviewing all emergency estimates, scopes, final estimates, and invoices for all jobs in their respective teams’ portfolios.
- This role may require you to attend marketing and/or client events (roughly up to 7 - 10 events per year).
- A college diploma or university degree with a specialization in project management or business is preferred.
- Having or being in the process of completing a PMI certificate is considered an asset.
- Excellent time management skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Restoration industry is required.
- A minimum of two years working in the Construction industry is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in project management and job estimating is preferred.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Experience managing medium to large-scale projects is preferred.
- A good team player that can work sufficiently in a team setting or on their own.
- Ability to handle a high-stress fast-paced work environment.
- Must be detail oriented.
