Studio Services Scheduler/Coordinator – Oshawa, Canada

Responsibilities

  • Assign studio personnel & event locations in the scheduling system and reconcile the Master schedule for broadcasts, rehearsals, workshops, and other events requiring studio time or studio personnel.
  • Maintain required databases for studio usage reporting and provide ad hoc reporting where required.
  • Develop and distribute monthly reports on all studio metrics.
  • Act as a ‘point of first contact’ for new studio business and existing business and process materials to ensure proper delivery of assets.
  • Track broadcasts, tapings, rehearsals, editing, voice overs, translations, and miscellaneous studio use
  • Distribution weekly Broadcast schedules to all internal recipients, Durham College, GM Training Manager and Studio Services staff.
  • Resolve any emergency/last minute scheduling/staffing issues.
  • Develop internal controls to ensure accurate, complete, and easily accessible files are maintained for all studio related materials/correspondence.
  • Work with the Studio Services Supervisor to revise policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Studio operations.
  • Perform quality assurance check on materials within the studio workflow stream.

Required Skillsets

  • This is an onsite job and requires reporting to the client office 5 days a week
  • This position is located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
  • 2+ in a scheduling, coordination, or administrative role — ideally within a creative studio, production house, or media environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Business Administration, or a related field
