Under the direction of the Culinary Manager, the Food Service Attendant is responsible and accountable for the delivery and service of meals and nourishments, the cleanliness of the dietary areas, and maintenance of equipment in accordance with specific standards and regulations.

Under the direction of the Culinary Manager, the Food Service Attendant is responsible and accountable for the delivery and service of meals and nourishments, the cleanliness of the dietary areas, and maintenance of equipment in accordance with specific standards and regulations.
The Following Traits And Qualifications Are Required
- A valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate from local Public Health, or equivalent food handling training program preferred
- Appropriate Food Service experience, skills and knowledge.
- An understanding of food service and preparation is essential
- Valid alcohol servicing certificate an asset
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language
- Dependable, responsible and an ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude necessary to meet the goals and standards of the retirement community.
