Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of the General Manager or Director, Marketing, this position is responsible for coordinating promotions and events at the site level. This position will also assist in executing social media plans and advertising campaigns to support various site marketing activities. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of the General Manager or Director, Marketing, this position is responsible for coordinating promotions and events at the site level. This position will also assist in executing social media plans and advertising campaigns to support various site marketing activities. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinates promotions and events at the site level as directed
- Liaises with site's media purchasing agency; may purchase media as directed
- Liaises with Corporate Marketing and the site operations management team; implements scheduled campaigns and promotions as directed; tracks, measures and reports results against monthly and annual customer relations hip goals
- Assists in developing and coordinates communication updates in social media channels
- Educates and motivates staff on site promotions and events in order to maximize awareness and participation from staff and guests; may produce and distribute a monthly marketing newsletter
- Maintains up-to-date promotional signage at the site level
- Tracks site marketing/advertising purchase orders; maintains spreadsheet logs
- Creates recap reports on site marketing activities and promotions
- May maintain the site marketing calendar; may drafts promotional guidelines and creative briefs
- May monitor and update the site marketing/advertising budget; may report variances
- May support site sales initiatives (e.g., developing collateral material)
- May liaise with regulatory bodies in support of shared marketing initiatives
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, vendors and regulators
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
- Post Secondary education in marketing or suitable combination of education and experience required
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience; gaming and/or hospitality experience an asset
- Experience in area of social media communication an asset
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Computer literacy in MS Office required, Hootsuite an asset
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
- Regular office environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required
