Sr. Technical Analyst – Provincial ePCR Project

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Sr. Technical Analyst who will support the technical workstream for the emergency medical services (EMS) electronic patient care reports (ePCR) project. The Technical Project Analyst’s responsibilities will include validating project technical requirements, documenting technical specifications for a tablet image, testing the solution, troubleshooting the solution and coordination of diverse stakeholders for issues resolution. The Technical Project Analyst will report to the Director of Acute and Tertiary Care Services administratively and the Senior Project Manager, ePCR Project. This is a highly visible, busy, and challenging role that will be focused on supporting the provincial implementation of ePCR in the province.
Responsibilities:
• Elicit, document and validate requirements documentation, presentations, as well as information and decision items for various audiences, including senior leaders.
• Develop test strategies, plans and coordinate testing activities.
• Write and/or proofread/edit a variety of detailed, accurate and clear technical and end user material.
• Facilitate support discussions with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, document and communicate knowledge documentation.
• Support the procurement and deployment of Panasonic Toughbooks, accessories and peripherals.
• Support the creation and deployment of a golden image for Panasonic Toughbooks by:
o Documenting requirements and specifications
o Supporting image build
o Coordinating image testing to validate application functionality, integrations, security settings, connectivity and performance
o Logging, managing and resolving defects
o Reporting test results
o Coordinating deployment of machines across Saskatchewan
• Drive technical issues resolution.
• Provide remote and on site go-live support in healthcare and EMS facilities across Saskatchewan
Qualifications:
• Minimum of seven (7) years in a Business Analyst role.

• Possesses the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications;
• Possesses previous experience eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements documentation;
• Possesses the ability to communicate complex issues in an effective manner to all levels in the organization, such as senior leaders, clinicians, frontline staff, etc.;
• Possesses the ability to navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex multi-enterprise environment that includes customers with difficult and/or competing needs;
• Proven history of being a methodical thinker with excellent communication, facilitation, leadership, and consulting skills;
• Proven history of resolving complex issues;
• Possesses the ability to build capacity in client’s knowledge and ability to use tools and implemented solution;
• Possesses previous experience developing test strategies, plans and coordinating testing activities;
• Possess previous experience on minimum three (3) provincial healthcare implementations in Canada; and
• Possesses a Diploma/Degree in Canadian Health Informatics, Computer Science.
