Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute Finance IT projects within defined scope, budget, and timelines
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables meet business objectives
  • Handle project scoping, prioritization, requirement changes, and risk mitigation using data-driven metrics and methodologies
  • Track and report project progress, budget adherence, resource allocations, and issue/risk resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards and participate in audits or governance reviews
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Coordinate with Finance Change Management and other support teams to align IT delivery with finance initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

  • 810 years of experience in project management, preferably in Finance IT or Regulatory projects
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, sub-ledger systems, and financial reporting tools
  • Expertise in project planning, risk management, cost-benefit analysis, and benefits realization
  • Knowledge of both Agile and SDLC (Waterfall) methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team leadership

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile/Project Management certification
  • Experience in large-scale regulatory transformation or financial system modernization projects
  • Familiarity with finance system platforms or sub-ledger implementations
