Our Client is looking for a lawyer with at least 5 years of family law experience. The role involves handling a range of family law matters such as divorce, child custody, youth protection, adoption, successions, and domestic violence cases.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents and court filings.
- Appear in court and represent clients.
- Conduct client consultations.
- Negotiate with opposing counsel.
- Perform legal research.
- Member in good standing with the Quebec Bar.
- Minimum 5 years of family law experience.
- Strong knowledge of family law issues including divorce, custody, and support.
- Experience in family law negotiations and litigation.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills in English and French (proficiency in English required for client communication).
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work well under pressure.
- Strong client management skills.
