We are looking for a teacher who can inspire a love of language learning and culture in our students. The successful applicant will deliver engaging and effective Italian language and cultural programs across year levels, while supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school. Our specialist program will most likely run across Tuesday / Wednesday or Wednesday / Thursday in our foundation year.Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging Italian language lessons in line with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to cater for diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with staff to promote language and cultural learning across the school.
- Actively contribute to the life of our school community.
- Current VIT registration.
- Qualifications in Italian/LOTE teaching.
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
- A welcoming and supportive school community.

- A chance to inspire students through language and cultural learning.
- There may be an opportunity for applicants to extend their role if required and desired (eg. intervention, classroom support, ongoing CRT work). This will be discussed on a case by case basis and if suits both the applicant and the school.How to Apply
