Main purpose of role: As part of the tender preparation process, lead and coordinate designated bid teams, ensuring the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive, and compliant expressions of interest (EoIs) and tenders. Manage prepositioning, consortium building, partner coordination, reference tailoring, expert identification, and support methodology preparation in close collaboration with the business development team, ensuring that opportunities are pursued strategically and efficiently across numerous sectors – governance, social development, education, climate change, energy, environment, and others.

Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring prepositioning and alignment with business development priorities.
  • Reviewing requirements for the expressions of interest and coordinating bid tasks to ensure timely and compliant EoI submissions.
  • Leading consortium building, including partner identification, negotiations, pre-bid agreements, and partner coordination.
  • Supporting expert identification, evaluation, and CV tailoring in collaboration with recruiters and technical contributors.
  • Coordinating and contributing to the drafting, review, and quality assurance of technical and sections / methodology.
  • Facilitating preparation of budgets and financial offers in close coordination with the bid team.
  • Overseeing submission processes, including administrative checks, compliance, quality control, and communication with partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with partners, experts, and advisors, ensuring effective collaboration across all phases.


Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in preparing EU and other donor-funded projects.
  • Demonstrable understanding of and interest in international development and working in an international/multi-cultural environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of PRAG roles and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interviewing, negotiation, and networking skills (both internal and external).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.


Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of French or Spanish.
