Contract type: Full time

We’re building our Strategy & Portfolio team and hiring a Strategy Portfolio Manager.
This role is for someone who can operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and storytelling.
You’ll work directly with executives and senior leaders to:
- Shape strategy & assess opportunities — connect new ideas to our corporate priorities and roadmap commitments.
- Drive execution, governance & reporting — ensure initiatives are well-structured, resourced, monitored, and positioned for success across functions.
- Tell the story with clarity — distill complex information into compelling presentations and facilitate engaging sessions with executives, functional leaders, and teams at all levels.
- Facilitate collaboration — lead meetings and workshops that drive decision-making, accountability, and momentum.
- See the big picture — understand the cumulative impact of decisions across the organization and guide leaders toward the best path forward.
- Plan across horizons — experience with enterprise-level planning of functional and technical roadmaps is an asset. You can connect enterprise strategy to divisional and functional goals, showing clearly what matters now, next, and later.
- Prioritize with discipline — experience with prioritization methodologies, business case development, and effort/impact estimation is an asset. From initial high-level “t-shirt sizing” to in-depth estimation as more details emerge, you bring best practices that ensure focus on the work that delivers the greatest value.
What we’re looking for:
- A well-rounded strategist (MBA or equivalent experience) with consulting-level skills in problem solving, communication, and presentation.
- Strong portfolio/program/project management experience and stakeholder management expertise.
- Comfort leading cross-functional planning, simplifying complexity, and ensuring alignment across the enterprise.
- A team player who adds value to culture — collaborative, versatile, and focused on making peers stronger.
This is a chance to play a pivotal role in maturing how we plan, govern, and deliver what matters most to MPI and the communities we serve.
