Home Health Aide
Ascent Pro Care

Are you tired of agencies that treat you like a number?
At Ascent Pro Care, we believe exceptional care starts with taking exceptional care of our team. We're a heart-led home care company founded by nurses who've seen what's broken in this industry - and we're building something better.
What Makes Us Different:
You Matter Here
We know your name, your strengths, and what you need to succeed. Our founders work alongside our team because we believe leadership should be hands-on, not hands-off.
Consistent Assignments
Build real relationships with families instead of being shuffled between random clients. You'll work with the same families over time, developing the trust and familiarity that makes care meaningful.
Heart-Led Decisions
Every policy, every schedule change, every decision starts with asking "What's best for our people and the families we serve?" - not "What's most profitable?"
Professional Growth
Ongoing training, mentorship from experienced nurses, and opportunities to specialize in areas like dementia care. We invest in your development because great caregivers deserve great support.
What We're Looking For:
Someone Who Cares Deeply
You didn't get into this work for the money. You genuinely want to make a difference in people's lives and understand that small acts of kindness matter as much as clinical skills.
Reliable & Committed
Families depend on you showing up. You take that responsibility seriously and understand that consistency is part of caring.
Growth-Minded
You want to keep learning and improving. Whether it's new techniques, better communication, or specialized training - you see every day as a chance to be better.
Team Player
You understand we're all in this together. You support your colleagues, communicate openly with leadership, and contribute to a positive work environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, mobility support)
- Medication reminders and health monitoring
- Light housekeeping related to client care
- Companionship and emotional support
- Clear communication with families and our nursing team
Requirements:
- Valid HCA certification or equivalent
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Background check and references
- Fluent English (additional languages a bonus)
- Vehicle and valid driver's license considered an asset
What We Offer:
- Competitive wages starting at $20/hour (above industry average)
- Consistent schedules with the same families
- Comprehensive training including dementia care specialization
- Flexible scheduling options that respect your work-life balance
- Direct access to leadership - no corporate bureaucracy
- Professional development opportunities and continuing education support
- Supportive team environment where your input matters
Ready to Be Part of Something Different?
We're not for everyone. If you want to punch a clock and do the minimum, there are other agencies for that. But if you want to work somewhere that values you as a person, invests in your growth, and makes decisions with heart - we'd love to meet you.
