Job Specifics
West Coast Family Medicine is looking for a Junior MOA. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday. An ideal candidate will be someone kind and quick to learn.
An incoming MOA will greet patients, identify their needs, direct patients to exam rooms, book appointments, follow up referrals, book investigations, and perform EMR filing of import box. The MOA will also be tasked with answering the phones and support 2-3 family physicians in this busy, fast-paced work environment. A Junior MOA is expected to get know our patients and understand their needs.
The Following Skills Are Essential For This Position
✓ Must have an MOA certificate
✓ Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and doctors
✓ Customer service focus and strong people skills
✓ Good organizational and time management skills
✓ Proficient computer skills and ability to troubleshoot minor IT problems
✓ Proficient in English (both verbal and written)
The following skills are considered strong assets for this position:
✓ Experience in a Family Practice office
✓ Past EMR experience
✓ Knowledge of MSP billing
✓ Past Experience with MSP billing
Friendly, able to multitask, and remain kind.

The clinic has 6 exam rooms (4 regular rooms and 2 baby rooms) with 4 physicians working in the clinic. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population is full-scope and varies in terms of complexities and age.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Other Relevant Information: There is ample flexibility to tailor your schedule from one to five days weekly, with personable mentorship available as needed.
