We are currently looking for a Part-Time Brandon Autism Tutor!
Scheduled work shifts are Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Position Summary
We are seeking fun, energetic, enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to learn, discover and explore! As a tutor, you will be an integral part of a team, working one-on-one with children and families, teaching meaningful skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. This opportunity, taking place in a community setting: childcare centre, family home or a St.Amant classroom location, encourages creativity and play, inspiring both yourself and the child you are supporting to find joy in learning.

Qualifications
As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and Prior Contact Check.
As a Condition of Employment, new hires must complete a series of Occupational Health checks. This includes the requirement to confirm immunization or immunity of specific communicable diseases.

Qualifications
- Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
- Previous experience as a tutor in a supervised applied behaviour analysis (ABA) program
- Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD
- Knowledge of the philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities
- Excellent, ongoing training in creative teaching strategies and behavioural principles
- Regularly scheduled team meetings for collaboration with supervisors and co-workers
- A significant career path in the field of ABA specializing in ASD
