Our business line, Investia, is currently seeking a talented and motivated student to assist their branch. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and organize confidential client documents for non-financial updates and account redemptions, ensuring their accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to manage complex situations and escalate them to appropriate channels when necessary.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, using various modes such as phone, email, and collaboration platforms to interact with clients and team members.
  • Leverage collaboration tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to support advisors and associates on various projects.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manage client databases and generate AUA reports, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Apply knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and Macros to automate repetitive tasks, thereby increasing efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the branch's financial products, including RRSPs, TFSAs, mutual funds, and GICs, to provide informed support and guidance.
  • Contribute to process documentation and propose suggestions to streamline operations, thereby participating in the training and development of new employees.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in a relevant field: business, finance, accounting. While licenses are not required, candidates may consider pursuing the Canadian Securities Course.
  • Possess advanced proficiency in English, as daily verbal and written interactions with unilingual English-speaking clients are required. For reference, nearly 90% of clients served in this role are unilingual English speakers.
  • Available for full-time work during the winter session of 2026 (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime).
  • Possess strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess a good knowledge of the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Microsoft Teams.
  • Be familiar with SharePoint.
