Store Clerk / Parts Assistant

Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics, Inventory and Facilities Manager, and working closely with the Storekeeper, the Store Clerk acts as their right-hand support. This role contributes to daily warehouse operations, mainly in order preparation (picking), receiving goods, and supporting production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and group parts for production and shipments.
  • Verify the conformity of received products and store them in an organized manner.
  • Respond to parts requests at the counter and ensure proper labeling/organization of items.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and efficiency in all work areas.
  • Participate in inventory counts (cycle counts and annual counts).
  • Support the Storekeeper in ensuring product availability and supplier order follow-up.
  • Apply workplace health and safety standards.

Desired Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Experience in warehouse, store, shipping/receiving (asset).
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good physical condition (standing, crouching, lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Team spirit, clear communication, and positive attitude.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and autonomy.
  • Fluency in French, working knowledge of English to be able to communicate with all members of the team
  • Basic computer skills (Office Suite, Excel) and interest in ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of handling electronic or mechanical parts (asset).
  • Commitment to health & safety standards and continuous improvement.
