Position: Manager, Talent Management – Full Time

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, days. Some flexibility may be required

Location: Hybrid – Remote and in person at all WRHN Sites

Position Summary : The Manager, Talent Management, is a strategic and collaborative thought-leader who will lead and support the design, development and execution of future-focused strategic workforce initiatives that will transform the future of work at WRHN. This role will translate strategy into design and action, with responsibility for driving key initiatives across organizational design, talent management (e.g., performance management, succession planning, coaching frameworks), and strategic workforce planning. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing enterprise-wide talent strategies that enable the organization to build high-performing teams, foster strong employee engagement and build a culture of values-based work aligned with our strategic business goals and objectives.

This role collaborates cross-functionally with all departments across WRHN to deliver timely, transparent, and effective workforce strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute talent management strategies aligned with WRHN goals and culture.
  • Organizational Design and Effectiveness (ODE)
  • Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Lead the development and execution of a forward-thinking Future of Work framework
  • Provide strategic oversight and project management of all workforce advisory initiatives, including talent, organizational design, and strategic workforce planning.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business / Commerce, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive Talent Management, Organizational Design or HR Strategy experience, with at least 3 – 5 years in a strategic talent role
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, and Organizational Governance, with experience in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging clients in discussions and leading organizational design engagements supporting senior leaders, in large multi-disciplinary teams as part of functional and enterprise-wide transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, succession planning, organizational design, talent strategy, and coaching frameworks.
  • Knowledge of emerging workforce trends, digital transformation and future of work implications for HR, including modernization efforts.
  • Experience leading complex talent initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret and apply talent analytics in strategic decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and change leadership skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • PROSCI or other industry standard Change Management Certification is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience working in the healthcare sector, particularly in a large hospital or similar healthcare organization is an asset.
