JOB PURPOSE

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions that support data-driven decision-making across Wing Group. This includes creating and optimizing data marts, writing performant SQL queries and views in Snowflake, and developing interactive dashboards in Power BI and other visualization tools. The BI Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights and deliver trusted, high-quality data assets.

WHAT WE OFFER

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $60,000 to 90,000 annually. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Design, build, and maintain data marts to support reporting and analytical needs.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Snowflake.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI (and other BI tools as required).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through proper modeling and governance practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users on accessing and interpreting dashboards.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of dashboards, queries, and data models.
  • Stay current with BI tools, Snowflake features, and emerging best practices in data visualization and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proven experience with Snowflake (SQL scripting, data modeling, performance tuning).
  • Proficiency with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, publishing, and sharing reports).
  • Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Looker is an asset.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Advanced SQL skills for building efficient queries and transformations.
  • Ability to create visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
