About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Portfolio Specialist to join our IT Portfolio Team.

This role is critical to ensuring the efficient management and execution of our IT projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic support to the team, helping to optimize processes and deliver on key initiatives.

What You'll Do Here

  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to prioritize and manage an array of IT initiatives.
  • Contribute to the IT budget cycle, including planning, forecasting, and monitoring of expenditures.
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and provide insights for optimization and risk management.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance delivery and reporting.
  • Support the CBA (Cost benefits analysis) for various initiatives on a multiyear period.
  • Create and deliver executive presentations, including dashboards that provide clear visibility into project status and metrics.
  • Review and analyze resource allocation aligns with project demands and deadlines.
  • Lead stakeholder communication and governance activities, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Promote and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the portfolio management space.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, portfolio management, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and portfolio management tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects.
  • Experience in financial analysis and IT budget management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in PMP, PgMP, or similar is highly desirable.
