The Spirit of the Position: 

The Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients and customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance. 

Principal Job Duties

  • Park and retrieve cars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand. 
  • Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face!  
  • Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision. 
  • Promote awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, make them love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you. 

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with at least two years of driving experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in coordinating valet services from start to finish, including retrieving keys, parking vehicles safely, and issuing tickets accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage vehicle safety procedures, such as inspecting for damage, directing traffic, and arranging towing services when necessary.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of accurately recording vehicle information using electronic devices or manual tickets, as well as reconciling financial operations and revenue at the end of each shift.
  • Possess effective communication skills to interact professionally with guests, clients, and teammates at all times, while also promptly reporting any incidents or claims to designated leadership.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 22.67 kg
  • Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
