AtkinsRéalis’s Minerals and Metals team in Canada is made up of more than 400 employees who work on large-scale projects to support mining sustainability, pit-to-port opportunities, metallurgical plant engineering, or mine closure and capabilities in the study, design, and construction of mining projects across a wide range of mining and processing methods and commodities. We are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to join our Minerals and Metals team. to work and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects related to mining, mineral processing and the environmental management of mining operations. The successful candidate will report to the Procurement and Contracts Director NAM (North America). Our group carries out varied mandates related to mining, smelting, processing and environmental management of mining sites throughout North America. We regularly take up the challenge of designing innovative solutions adapted to each client and assisting them at all stages of the life of their mining operation, from exploration to closure.
This opportunity will be to support the M&M business located in any of the major cities of Canada: Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $129,800 - $178,500 annually) (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Your Role Within The Team
- Plan, organize, supervise, and manage all procurement activities across the project, overseeing and coordinating all procurement disciplines (subcontracts, purchasing, material control, expediting, and logistics).
- Define procurement strategies and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, project controls, commercial, and construction teams to define, plan, and schedule procurement requirements and deliverables.
- Participate in key management meetings—internal and external—to present procurement performance, risks, and progress updates.
- In collaboration with the functional procurement team, develop and implement project-specific forms, templates, workflows, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Optimize procurement processes to achieve cost savings, risk reduction, and timely delivery of goods and services.

The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Contract Administration (or a closely related field).
- 15+ years of progressive procurement, supply chain, or commercial management experience within engineering, construction, or EPC environments.
- Proven delivery on large-scale projects with direct site involvement; experience leading multidisciplinary procurement for Mining & Metals across both large- and small-scale projects.
- Track record managing and developing procurement teams of 5+ staff and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly analytical, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent communication skills; bilingual (French and English) considered an asset.
