We’re seeking a highly skilled Associate General Counsel to support our General Counsel in navigating legal, regulatory, commercial, and operational challenges while ensuring compliance with evolving healthcare and aesthetic regulations. While residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is preferred, the position is open for consideration to any qualified candidates residing in the continental US, Montreal, or Calgary.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a day-to-day legal advisor, supporting the General Counsel across multiple legal domains and jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), vendor, service, employment, partnership, NDAs, other agreements).
- Provide counsel on healthcare-specific legal matters such as the Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM), oversight and delegation of medical procedures, privacy, marketing, clinical operations, liability, and insurance.
- Advise on corporate governance, board communications, subsidiary oversight, and legal policy implementation.
- Support compliance programs—both federal and state—including the provision of medical services, data privacy, employment law, advertising claims, and anti-fraud statutes.
- Collaborate with external counsel on transactional matters, litigation, investigations, regulatory responses, and administrative hearings.
- Conduct legal research and participate in regulatory and policy developments relevant to medical aesthetics and company compliance.
- Manage legal intake and workflow, ensuring efficient triage and alignment with business priorities.
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 8+ years of US legal experience, including private practice in corporate and health care transactions, healthcare regulatory and privacy compliance (e.g., Stark, federal and state anti-kickback, HIPAA, etc.), with some experience in M&A preferable, but not required.
- Strong understanding of CPOM and Management Services Organization structures preferred in order to navigate various states’ laws for compliance.
- Strong work ethic with proven ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple matters.
- Ability to interpret evolving regulatory frameworks, ensuring legal compliance while enabling innovation in the areas of federal and state health care laws, including those affecting physician and advance provider oversight and delegation, independent practice, as well as compensation models.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, compliance frameworks, and policy development.
- Team collaboration mindset, working closely with clinical, regulatory, marketing, partnerships, integrations, de novo, and operations teams.
- Experience with legal workflow systems or process improvement tools is a plus.
- JD degree with bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
