Description
- Supervise daily on-site construction activities and workforce
- Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and internal teams
- Ensure work aligns with project plans, timelines, and specifications
- Monitor and enforce safety compliance according to company and airport standards
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and stakeholders
- Conduct safety inspections and manage risk assessments
- Maintain accurate site records, including attendance and daily logs
- Review and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Identify and recommend improvements to optimize site operations
- Submit weekly progress reports to the project team
Profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience supervising airport or commercial construction sites
- Proven experience working in a live store environment, managing construction without disrupting ongoing operations
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and airport protocols
- Certified in Working at Heights, First Aid, CPR, and Basics of Supervision
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Organized, proactive, and able to handle high-pressure situations
- Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); Microsoft Project is an asset
- Hands-on construction experience (e.g., carpentry, framing, layout) is a plus
- Flexible to work day or night shifts as needed
- Familiarity with multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is considered a bonus
