Trouw Nutrition is seeking a Manager, Strategic Projects. This will be a remote role, with candidates ideally located in the Guelph, Ontario region.
About The Role: Our Manager, Strategic Projects leads the end-to-end management of projects and continuous improvement initiatives that drive cross-regional alignment and operational excellence. This role manages a diverse portfolio of strategic projects spanning digital, sales, operations and functional transformation.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Defines and executes project plans, scope, and budgets to ensure successful, on-time completion of strategic initiatives within a broad project portfolio
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborates with business leaders and functional teams to prioritize projects and ensure goals are aligned with organizational objectives
Process Improvement: Develops and implements continuous improvement programs, leveraging methodologies like Six Sigma to enhance operational efficiency
Knowledge Management: Documents project learnings and facilitates knowledge sharing across teams to promote best practices and future efficiency
Change and Risk Management: Proactively manages project changes, identifies potential risks, and implements mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree within a relevant field of study
Minimum of 5-10 years of proven project management experience, including a track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects
Experience in agriculture industry preferred
PMP certification and formal training in continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma are preferred
Proficiency in project management software
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence others and work in a fast-paced, complex/matrix environment.

Building strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Developing and implementing a continuous improvement program, leveraging methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring that project learnings and best practices are documented and shared across teams to foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency
