Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now recruiting for Bend Cell Operators for one of our reputable clients in Waterloo.
Job Title: Bend Cell Operator
Employment Type: Contract to Permanent
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour + $1/hour shift premium for nights
Shift: Afternoons and Nights available.
- Must be willing to train on days
Job Summary:
Seeking Bend Cell Operators to assist in processing stainless steel tubes into tubular components and subassemblies. Responsibilities include operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets. This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined and eager to grow in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as EMS cutter, bender, saw, Ram Form, I/O, deburring machine, and inline washer
- Load/unload materials for each part
- Track production numbers accurately
- Inspect parts using gauges and fixtures
- Report equipment or production issues
- Follow safety protocols and workplace procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Both written and verbal communication in English
- Team player who can also work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Mechanically inclined, with some machine operation experience preferred
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 3-6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
