OPPORTUNITY – ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Dynamic Capital is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Associate Account Manager (AAM) to join our team. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our sales team to support business development efforts while gaining the skills and experience to grow into a future Account Manager position.
You’ll learn how to prepare credit requests, perform research and financial analysis, and contribute to the underwriting of transactions. You’ll also play a key role in servicing active accounts, building client relationships, and ensuring all required information is collected and managed efficiently.
The Associate Account Manager (AAM) role is designed to give you hands-on exposure to every part of the deal cycle, setting the foundation for a long-term career in sales and business development. Over the course of approximately three years, you’ll gain hands-on experience, build industry knowledge, and develop the skills to confidently manage client relationships and drive new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partnering with Account Managers to prepare comprehensive credit applications for both brokered and internal financing transactions.
- Reviewing, spreading, and analyzing financial statements and credit history reports for individual and corporate borrowers.
- Researching and evaluating collateral pledged in support of transactions.
- Preparing and submitting credit applications, while coordinating the approval process from start to finish.
- Communicating directly with customers to collect information and documentation needed for credit packages and contracts.
- Assisting Account Managers in business development efforts by making sales and marketing calls to help expand their customer base.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (preferred).
- Strong ability to set goals, develop strategies, execute plans, and deliver results in a competitive sales environment.
- Genuine interest in building a long-term career in sales and business development.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently with limited direction.
- Knowledge of asset-based lending and/or leasing in the Canadian market is an asset, specifically equipment used in any of Transportation, Oil & Gas, Forestry, Construction, and/or Manufacturing industries considered an asset.
- Openness to relocation should a sales territory become available in the future.
- Understanding that success as an Account Manager will be measured by customer coverage, prospect conversion, new business volume, and profitability.
- Experience working in an office/professional setting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver results in a high-energy setting.
The AAM position is a training role designed to prepare for a future business development opportunity as an Account Manager. While the role is intended to build the skills, knowledge, and experience required to transition into an Account Manager position, no specific time frame for this transition is guaranteed or outlined. Advancement will depend on the growth of the business, evolving organizational needs, and the individual’s readiness to take on the responsibilities of an Account Manager.
