We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior or Intermediate Project Manager to join our architectural team. This position is ideal for someone with solid industry experience who enjoys guiding projects from concept through construction, balancing design vision with technical execution. Our client is a well established architecture firm with a broad portfolio of work.
What's Required
- Post-secondary diploma in Architectural Technology or a comparable discipline
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in architecture or construction
- Fluent in English – spoken, written, and technical communication
You should bring a background in a variety of project types, ideally including:
- Multi-family residential
- Industrial facilities
- Commercial developments
- Institutional buildings
- Collaborate with the design team to shape and advance architectural concepts
- Interpret and coordinate technical documentation, reports, and specifications
- Conduct thorough reviews of architectural drawings and design packages
- Lead consultant coordination and facilitate project communication
- Manage tender processes and oversee contract administration
- Perform on-site reviews and field observations to ensure quality and compliance
- Support and guide junior technical staff, reviewing and monitoring their work
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Experience with REVIT considered a strong asset
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities with an eye for detail
- Eligible for basic security clearance
- Valid driver’s license, with occasional travel required (all travel and parking costs covered by employer)
- Comfortable balancing office-based tasks with site visits
- Mix of desk-based work, coordination meetings, and site involvement
- Ability to supervise and mentor a small team (up to 4 people)
