Loblaw is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for the upcoming flu season. Current certificate of registration from College of Nurses of British Columbia (RPN) and ability to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate good standing is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles and provide nursing care in accordance with policy and patients’ physician's orders
- Identify the needs of patients and develop and maintain appropriate care plans
- Ensure a timely and accessible admission for the patients
- Ensure the supply, control and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics and ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts
- RPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses
- Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration
- Knowledge of the requirements of the appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drug Act
- Certified for intramuscular injection for influenza shots
- Must have injection administration certificate and IMMS access (IMMS access can be set up in pharmacy)
- Must have a current CPR license and valid liability insurance
