Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC, is seeking a dedicated Recreation Therapy Worker to join our dynamic team. Working within a client-centered model, you'll play a vital role in implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program, contributing to the well-being and enjoyment of our residents.

Your Role

As a Recreation Therapy Worker, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities designed to meet the physical, social, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional needs of our residents. From organizing arts, sports, and cultural events to leading individual and group sessions, you'll create a stimulating environment that fosters growth and connection. Your role will also involve planning and accompanying residents on outings, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Additionally, you'll collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, reporting any changes or concerns and participating in care conferencing and program evaluation.

Work Schedule

This position is a permanent part time (0.61FTE) position working rotating day and evening shifts from 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 19:00.
