Role Overview

As an HR Generalist (HR Manager) at e2E Rail, you will be responsible for managing core HR operations including payroll, statutory compliances, audits, and HRMS administration. This role is critical in ensuring process adherence, timely statutory filings, and smooth HR service delivery for employees across corporate and project locations.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & HR Operations

Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for corporate and project staff.

Ensure accurate data collation, validations, and timely payouts in coordination with finance.

Handle full & final settlements, salary structure revisions, and related documentation.

Statutory Compliances & Registers

Maintain statutory records and registers (muster rolls, wages, leave, etc.) as per applicable labor laws.

Coordinate with consultants/vendors for timely submission of ESI, PF, PT, LWF, and other statutory returns.

Keep track of licenses (CLRA, BOCW, etc.) and ensure renewal and compliance for project sites.

Audit & Documentation

Prepare and maintain compliance documents for labor, PF, ESIC, and internal/external audits.

Support labor inspections and ensure audit readiness at all times.

Manage employee records including service history, contracts, and personal files in digital and physical formats.

HRMS Administration

Oversee configuration, data accuracy, and routine workflows in the HRMS (attendance, leave, shift, payroll, etc.).

Liaise with the system vendor to troubleshoot issues and ensure system optimization.

Train end-users (employees, site HRs) on HRMS functionalities and updates.

HR Policy & Governance

Implement and monitor HR policies related to attendance, leave, code of conduct, and workplace discipline.

Act as the point of contact for grievance handling and resolution as per company guidelines.

Assist in internal communication and HR process standardization initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

7 – 10 years of experience in core HR operations, payroll, and compliances, preferably in infra, construction, or engineering sectors.

In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory returns, and payroll practices.

Proficiency in HRMS platforms (e.g., Keka, ERP, etc.).

Meticulous in documentation and process adherence.

Fluency in English and Hindi; regional languages are a plus.

Willingness to travel to project sites occasionally.
