As a key member of our Network Operations team, you’ll monitor ORBCOMM’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites and global ground systems using advanced tools such as Grafana, DataDog, and Nagios. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and security of our 24/7 IoT services, working closely with global colleagues and technical experts to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time.
This is an ideal role for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to mission-critical operations from day one.

What You’ll Do
- Monitor IoT service performance using leading industry tools.
- Detect and resolve Tier 1 anomalies across ORBCOMM’s LEO satellite fleet.
- Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of Ground/Earth stations.
- Perform basic network testing and resolve connectivity issues across devices.
- Participate in 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule as part of a global operations team.
You don’t need years of experience—what matters most is curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. If you have:
- A college diploma or associate degree in a technical field such as Computer Systems, Network Engineering, or Electronics—or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Comfort working overnight shifts and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
- A general understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, and serial servers.
- Basic troubleshooting skills related to connectivity and system performance.
- Knowledge of tools such as Grafana, PostgreSQL, or scripting languages like Python or TCL.
- A strong interest in satellite communications, IoT, or network systems.
- Practical experience with dashboard creation or system monitoring.
