MKS Instruments is seeking a Human Resources Intern/Co-op who will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in HR and learn from experienced professionals. Reporting to the HR Generalist, this role offers exposure to multiple HR functional areas, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including data entry, employee file management, and HRIS updates
  • Help coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities and culture-building initiatives
  • Participate in workforce planning and change management related to the new building project
  • Support compliance activities, including policy reviews and health & safety requirements
  • Collaborate on HR improvement projects and process documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the local OSP team

Skills You Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in either a degree or diploma program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative HR team

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. This rate is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations
