Role
As a Product Requirements Analyst, you will help to define and plan the enhancements to the digital solutions in the GSTS product suite, acting as the bridge between clients and the Technology team. Working with Product Managers, Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders, you will engage in eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing business requirements and high-level solution designs.
You will translate requirements into clear user stories, initial designs and process flows, collaborating on multiple solution options that balance client priorities, scalability, integration, and resource constraints. You will also help validate solutions before release to ensure they meet client needs.

Role
As a Product Requirements Analyst, you will help to define and plan the enhancements to the digital solutions in the GSTS product suite, acting as the bridge between clients and the Technology team. Working with Product Managers, Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders, you will engage in eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing business requirements and high-level solution designs.
You will translate requirements into clear user stories, initial designs and process flows, collaborating on multiple solution options that balance client priorities, scalability, integration, and resource constraints. You will also help validate solutions before release to ensure they meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Product Manager, and working closely with Project Managers, and the Technology team:
- Engage stakeholders to align requirements with the GSTS product vision.
- Elicit, analyze, and refine requirements from initial ideation to release.
- Help to maintain and update the product roadmap platform through iterative sprint cycles
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, and test cases.
- Create wireframes and conceptual mock-ups to support product design in an iterative development process.
- Help the Product Manager to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
- Split epics into user stories and ensure acceptance criteria are clear for QA.
- Confirm final solutions meet agreed requirements with PMs and stakeholders by gathering feedback and through hands-on usability testing.
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst or product specialist on technology projects.
- 2+ years in Agile environments (Scrum, user stories, retrospectives, planning).
- Degree in software development or related technical field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of software development and user-focused product design.
- Experience leading mixed teams of internal leads and development resources.
- Proven ability to translate requirements into actionable user stories.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Working experience with version control (Gitlab, Git, etc.)
- Experience within the maritime industry
- Experience with GIS/spatial analytics
- Experience with schedule management software
- Experience with government projects
- Experience with AI and large datasets
- Experience with UI/UX and mock-up tools
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check and provide two professional references.
