JD - Product Analytics Role

Were looking for an experienced and data-driven Product Analyst to join our growing e-commerce team. In this role, youll be instrumental in shaping our product strategy by transforming complex data into actionable insights. Youll work closely with product managers, engineers, and operations to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure the impact of our product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • KPI Definition & Opportunity Sizing: Define, track, and analyze key product-specific KPIs to support the development of robust business cases. This includes conducting opportunity sizing to quantify the potential impact of new features and product enhancements, and performing product attribution analysis to understand the influence of various touchpoints on user behavior.
  • Post-Launch Performance Measurement: Design and implement comprehensive post-launch analytics frameworks to rigorously measure product effectiveness. Youll track performance against established goals, identify trends, and provide continuous reporting on product health and user engagement.
  • Weekly KPI Reporting: Take ownership of the weekly product KPI reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication of insights to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Proactively identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in product data to uncover opportunities for improvement and inform product roadmap decisions.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Support the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests and other experiments to validate product hypotheses and optimize user experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support Product Managers to refine product requirements, with Engineering to ensure data integrity and tracking implementation, and with Operations to understand product performance, user adoption, and operational impact.
  • Dashboard & Reporting Development: Create and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using various analytics tools to democratize data and empower self-service analysis within the product team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within an e-commerce environment.
  • Proven experience defining and tracking product-specific KPIs to support business cases, including opportunity sizing and product attribution.
  • Demonstrable expertise in post-launch analytics to measure product effectiveness, including tracking performance to goal and developing continuous reporting mechanisms.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
