  • Practice interaction design by supporting the creation of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes with guidance from experienced designers.
  • Gain exposure to visual design by contributing to high-fidelity screens and learning how to apply brand guidelines and design systems.
  • Work with design systems by organizing and maintaining design assets, and learning how consistent patterns improve scalability.
  • Support user research and testing by helping run usability sessions, compiling feedback, and documenting insights.
  • Participate in design critiques and workshops to practice presenting your work, receiving feedback, and improving your design thinking.
  • Learn about inclusive design by ensuring accessibility is considered in every project.

Does this sound like you?

  • You’re curious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced mentors.
  • You bring creativity and attention to detail, and you’re not afraid to ask questions to clarify ambiguous problems.
  • You enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas, and you value open, constructive feedback.
  • You’re resilient, adaptable, and excited by the opportunity to contribute in a fast-paced digital environment.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Currently enrolled in a design-related program (e.g., interaction design, product design, human-computer interaction, graphic design).
  • A portfolio (academic, personal, or professional) that shows your potential in UX and UI design.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Interest in user-centered design practices, accessibility, and inclusive design.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

How You’ll Succeed:

At Loblaw Digital, we seek great people to continually strengthen our culture. We believe great people model our values, are authentic, build trust and make connections.

We’re able to keep innovating because our colleagues are passionate about their work and excited about the future of eCommerce.
