About You:

Responsibilities
- Facilitate business and systems requirement elicitation sessions with business stakeholders, product owners and engineering teams
- Develop effective and efficient solution requirements by researching and analyzing system capabilities and facilitate to help define technology solutions while working closely with key business subject matter experts and technology partners
- Able to create wireframes, mock-ups to communicate requirements to stakeholders
- Proactively support engineering team members (i.e., developers, QAs) with the creation and execution of solution development, test scenarios and participate in user acceptance testing, as needed
- Continuously enhance knowledge and expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge trends and develop expertise in applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development and delivery
- Build positive working relationships with business and technology stakeholders and efficiently collaborate to identify suitable solutions and resolve problems
- Prepare and provide periodic reports and updates to stakeholders and delivery
- Create and maintain requirements, related domain documentation in the repository as they pertain to assigned system domain
- Coach, mentor and review business systems analysis best practices to new/junior team members
- Adhere to department and team guidelines on project/product delivery, contribute and improve team KPIs
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience as Business Systems Analyst for software development in related industry
- Experience in the financial services, credit, loans, or FINTECH industry
- Understanding and ability to create API documentation
- Experience with databases, data tables and SQL queries
- Proven working experience of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and Agile methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, other)
- Solid experience in writing clear and complete requirements, business analysis artifacts, visual diagrams, process flows, user stories and their acceptance criteria
- Strong communication capabilities with excellent oral, written, facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Experienced in mapping business process flow, creating wireframes and mock-ups
- A flair for creative ideas and smart, simple solutions
- Past working experience or familiarity with finance accounting practices is an asset
