Trade Compliance Analyst

As a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage global import/export compliance processes for U.S. and Canadian shipments, ensuring full adherence to trade laws and regulations. You will serve as a subject matter expert in customs regulations, HTS/ECCN classifications, and country-of-origin determinations, while supporting internal audits, broker oversight, and regulatory reporting. In this role, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, product development, and logistics teams to proactively integrate compliance across the product and order lifecycle. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining and improving recordkeeping systems, facilitating Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documentation, and monitoring regulatory changes that impact SEKISUI's trade obligations.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of U.S. and Canadian trade regulations. You should be comfortable working independently on complex issues, interpreting trade laws, and implementing scalable compliance frameworks. Experience with trade automation tools and certifications such as CCS, CES, or CTCS will be considered assets. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or a related field, with 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in global trade compliance or customs operations. A U.S. Customs Broker License is preferred but not required.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $106,000 - $118,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
