We are recruiting a Branch Manager to fill a permanent vacancy in our Leamington Branch.
As Branch Manager in Leamington, you’ll champion our purpose by building meaningful relationships with members, local businesses, and community partners. Our Leamington branch is rooted in a close-knit rural community that includes various Mennonite households, as well as a growing number of Ontarians drawn to values-based banking. You’ll play a key role in supporting members' financial wellbeing while helping nurture a spirit of mutual aid that’s deeply woven into the fabric of this community.
This role provides leadership and coaching to the retail team providing services, solutions and advice so that members receive an outstanding member experience. In addition to managing branch operations for compliance and operational effectiveness, and collaborating cross-functionally to coordinate service and implement change aligned to organizational strategy, the Branch Manager also leads local community engagement and business development activities to grow Kindred’s business, membership and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Passionately manage the branch as if it is your own business, creating a culture of excellence where exemplary member experience takes place with every interaction and business results are strong to best steward the resources of our membership and credit union
- Regularly coach and provide feedback to your team members to enable them to have confidence in what they do, help them grow and drive to excel, and provide appropriate recognition
- Collaborate with wealth, business banking, and internal partners to coordinate member experience delivery through holistic solutions and advice that meet member needs
- Grow community connections to invite others to experience banking with purpose
- Bring business expertise to manage branch operations and ensure compliance to regulatory and audit requirements and effective risk management practices.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field, with solid business acumen and financial literacy
- 6-8 years of experience in retail banking, with expertise in retail lending and investments
- 2-4 years of leadership experience
- Proven skills in coaching, team building, and developing talent
