Who We Are
Imagine a world where your birthplace doesn’t limit your dreams. That’s what Passage is here to create. We aren’t just a bridge of financial support; we connect families all around the world to life-changing opportunities. We believe in a future where deserving students can pursue their dreams & ambitions—even if their parents don’t have money.
Our mission is bold but simple: by 2030, we aim to dismantle the barriers preventing brilliant minds from accessing the opportunities they deserve. Starting with financial barriers, we’re offering loans to international students and refugees, helping them pursue better education in Canada and unlock a world of possibilities—not just for themselves, but for their families and future generations, too.
Admin: It’s important to note that we maintain an in-office working policy, and we require candidates to either reside in Toronto or be open to relocating to the area and committing to a five-day-a-week in-office schedule.
Who You Are
You’re a proactive, results-driven professional excited to join our mission-focused team at Passage. You care deeply about helping people succeed and opening doors to life-changing opportunities.
You’ll build and nurture relationships with employers across entry-level sectors—retail, customer service, IT support, administrative roles, warehousing, banking, and other part-time or flexible positions—to unlock meaningful opportunities for our students and recent graduates.
You will own the full recruitment cycle, from understanding an employer’s needs and job requirements to matching them with the right candidates and guiding both sides through to a successful hire—your work directly creates job offers and new career pathways.
You bring an existing network and a proven track record of placing candidates who balance work and education, but we also welcome backgrounds in staffing, workforce development, or employer engagement where you’ve built partnerships and driven placements.
You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where ownership, impact, and measurable outcomes matter most.
What You Will Do
Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across entry-level sectors. Use cold outreach via email, phone, and social media to generate new employer leads and grow our network of hiring partners.
Talent Placement: Own the full recruitment cycle—from understanding employer needs and job requirements to matching them with the right candidates and supporting both sides through to a successful hire. Your work directly leads to job offers and new career opportunities for our talent.
Employer & Industry Outreach: Represent Passage at networking events, job fairs, and meetings with employers or community partners. You'll help raise awareness of our mission and build partnerships that lead to real job opportunities.
Candidate Support: Prepare candidates to succeed. Offer interview coaching, mock interviews, and job readiness support to ensure they feel confident and capable throughout the hiring process.
Monitoring & Reporting: Keep accurate records of employer outreach, interviews, and job placements. Regularly track outcomes and share insights, updates, and success stories with the team to help shape strategy and measure impact.
Qualifications
We’re on a mission to make the world a fairer place, one student at a time. If you’re excited to work hard, innovate fearlessly, and collaborate with a high-energy team striving for global impact, we’d love to meet you.
Note: This role is based in Toronto, and requires a five-day-a-week in-office commitment. Applicants must be willing to relocate if they’re not already in the area.
Let’s help shape a future where every dream can thrive—no matter where it’s born.
