Process Specialist
- Lead the release of process machinery including machine validation. - Finding technological solutions to business requirements.

- Lead the release of process machinery including machine validation.
- Ensure machines meet the safeguarding of machinery standards CSA Z432 and/or ANSI B11.0;
- Organize, implement and maintain production process flow.
- Develop processes by assess, taking measurements and interpreting data.
- Develop and maintain working instructions and process documents.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Develop familiarity with BizLink elocab products and capabilities and provide expertise to technical sales engineers, marketing and sales representatives.
- Design and identify components, custom tooling and fixtures that are required to be sourced externally, and coordinate demands with purchasing.
- Independent maintenance, interference analysis and troubleshooting of machines as well as spare part procurement together with purchasing and the maintenance department.
- Design and execute experiments to test new processes, materials, or equipment.
- Create and improve processes.
- Operate mills and lathes.
- Operate and train on production machinery.
- Leading project timelines and resources, and eventually overseeing production teams
- Focus on process engineering initiatives, working to analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot our cable manufacturing processes.
- Identify areas for improvement.
- Design and develop custom fixturing, implementing solutions, and ensure the highest quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Completed machinist, millwright or tool and die maker apprenticeship is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in operating mills and lathes.
- Some electrical knowledge diagnosing machine connections.
- Work experience in industrial engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD working highly preferred.
- Handson experience in support of both equipment and product aspects of a manufacturing plant, ideally paired with experience in improvement projects.
- Highly motivated selfstarter.
- You are an openminded and conceptual thinker who introduces new and creative ideas into a broad area of responsibility.
- You are a driver and a team player.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work on many different tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions with attention to details and time sensitive deadlines
- Authentic, loyal and reliable personality with good interpersonal skills.
- Fluency, both written and verbal in English. German language knowledge is considered an asset.
- Ideally, previous experience in polymer extrusion.
- Previous experience managing a small team of 25 people considered an asset
