What You’ll Do
As a CAD Specialist, you will provide drafting and design support for heavy civil projects, working closely with engineers, project managers, and estimating staff. You’ll create clear, accurate, and professional drawings and models that support all stages of our projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain 2D and 3D drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit.
- Produce site plans, layouts, cross-sections, and details for civil, structural, and infrastructure projects.
- Update and revise drawings throughout project lifecycles to reflect design changes and field conditions.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
- Prepare visuals and technical documentation to support project planning and client presentations.
- Ensure all CAD work follows company and industry drafting standards.
- Support continuous improvement of CAD templates, libraries, and workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit (required).
- 3+ years of professional CAD experience in construction, engineering, or related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
