General Manager
Location: 767 Creditstone Rd, Concord, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Office
Position Overview:
The General Manager will oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of BlindsFactory.ca, including sales, manufacturing, human resources, customer service, and overall business strategy. This leadership position is critical for driving growth, maintaining productivity, and ensuring an exceptional client experience across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations across departments (sales, manufacturing, administration)
Lead team members by example; motivate and develop staff
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategic goals
Ensure efficient scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain coordination
Maintain compliance with workplace safety, employment, and industry regulations
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Build relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders
Report directly to ownership on business performance and new opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of management experience (preferably in manufacturing or retail sectors)
Strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Experience with budgeting, operations, and HR management
Knowledge of the window covering industry is a strong asset
Working Conditions:
Office and factory floor presence required
Occasional travel to job sites or vendor locations
