Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist!

Valiant TMS, a global manufacturing leader, is looking for a skilled, reliable and safety-conscious CNC Machinist to join our Valco Manufacturing team! As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products you machine meet the precise specifications of our customers while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency. What You’ll Get To Do

  • Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining.
  • Verify conformance of the detail to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometres, Vernier, and fixed gauges.
  • Recognize the functions of the specific controller capabilities program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program.
  • Input additions, deletions and changes to the machining program as instructed by the CAM department.
  • Decide and ensure assigned functions can be completed on specific machines.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in machining.
  • Qualifications:
    • Completed high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Completed apprentice program and certification in the trade would be a bonus.
    • Experience and training in the use of cranes, slings, and hoists.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand blueprints with attention to detail and basic understanding of GD&T.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
