Job Description
Kent Building Supplies is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all new team members. As we continue to grow, we’re piloting a centralized approach to onboarding to ensure consistency, engagement, and a smooth transition into our organization.
We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused Centralized Onboarding Coordinator to lead and support onboarding activities across our district. This role will be instrumental in shaping the onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel connected, informed, and set up for success from day one.
This is a part-time position up to 40 hours/ week as needed. Candidates must be able to work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and trainers to deliver a unified onboarding experience across all locations.
- Monitor onboarding activities and leverage feedback and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires, offering guidance and support throughout their onboarding journey.
- Troubleshoot onboarding challenges and provide prompt, effective solutions.
- Contribute to the development of onboarding strategies using data insights and employee feedback.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
- Experience with data collection and reporting in an HR or administrative context is an asset.
- Passion for creating positive and inclusive employee experiences.
