In this role, you’ll take ownership of our IT environment — managing employee devices, administering SaaS tools, troubleshooting networks, and strengthening our cybersecurity and compliance posture. You’ll be the go-to expert employees turn to for support, while also building scalable processes and documentation that will grow with the company.
Ultimately, your work will ensure our team has the secure, efficient, and reliable technology foundation needed to deliver for our customers and scale the business.

You’ll be our first dedicated IT hire, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. You’ll partner closely with Engineering and Operations, while supporting employees across every department. As we scale, you’ll help shape the IT function and may have opportunities to lead future IT hires.

How You’ll Contribute
- Strengthen cybersecurity & compliance readiness (endpoint protection, access controls, phishing defense, SOC 2 policy creation).
- Lead device management & provisioning for macOS (Jamf) and Windows (Intune), including onboarding/offboarding.
- Create IT policies, user guides, and knowledge base articles to support employees.
- Troubleshoot and maintain networking & office infrastructure (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Administer Microsoft 365 and identity management (Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, SSO, MFA).
- Provide responsive IT support and training, especially for macOS users.
- Manage and secure IT infrastructure, including devices, networks, SaaS platforms, and vendors.
- Tech-savvy problem solver with a learning mentality; able to research, evaluate, and adapt solutions; basic scripting and SQL query skills.
- 3+ years of IT generalist experience in SaaS or cloud-first environments, ideally as the first IT hire or sole IT lead.
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in IT, Cybersecurity, System Administration, or related field; relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) a plus.
- Strong expertise in macOS and Windows device management (Jamf & Intune), plus troubleshooting across Mac/PC environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer-first mindset and experience supporting end users in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to manage IT infrastructure, security, and compliance (endpoint protection, access controls, SOC 2 readiness, policy creation).

Salary & Benefits
- Base salary range: CAD $75,000 – $95,000, depending on experience and security/compliance expertise.
- Bonus: Annual
- PTO: Two weeks per year in the 1st year
