We are looking for a Co-op Student to join our Digital Assurance & Analytics team —a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:
- Pull, clean, and validate internal or client data (Excel/CSV/SQL exports).
- Build and iterate on Power BI dashboards to support audits and advisory work.
- Support journal entry testing, sampling, and audit analytics scripts.
- Document processes, data dictionaries, and simple “how‑to” guides.
- Assist with lunch & learns (prep materials, demos, or co‑present short segments).
- Pitch a skunkworks idea by the end of your term—we reserve time for this.
- Working towards a diploma/degree in Commerce/Accounting, Analytics, Computer/Information Systems, Math/Stats, or related field.
- Familiar with Excel; curious about Power BI/SQL (coursework counts).
- Clear communication: brief updates, good questions, and willingness to ask for help
- Evidence of initiative (school project, club, freelance, hackathon, etc.).
- Nice-to-have: exposure to accounting/audit concepts, Caseware/TaxPrep, or basic Python/R for data tasks.
