Responsibilities

• Develop QA strategies and standards based on projects across teams
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to ensure tasks are completed as scheduled
• Design, develop and execute manual test scenarios under regression test plans
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing
• Present test results and communicate test progress to QA Manager
• Participate in meetings with developers and project managers to discuss release scope and roadblocks
• Identify opportunities and implement appropriate best practices
• Install and deploy builds in test environments
• Meet sprint goals, ensuring quality releases are delivered
• Execute functional and regression tests manually and through automation
• Contribute and support in the development of automated test scripts and execute for releases
• Leverage AI to support test case generation, automation script creation, and test optimization
  
  
  

Skills And Experience

• At least 5 years experience in software quality assurance
• At least 2 years experience in test automation
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or Test Complete
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C# for test automation
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic and rapidly changing environments or release cycles
• Experience testing both desktop and web-based applications
• Solid understanding of web service and API testing, including the interactions with SOAP and/or REST service endpoints through Swagger or Postman
• Ability to identify, record, document, and track bugs using Azure DevOps or Jira
• Working knowledge of relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Experience in an agile development environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is an asset
• Exposure to generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) in QA or development workflows is an asset.
