The Mapping Manager – HABA is responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing promotional floor mapping across Health & Beauty Aids (HABA), Home & Entertainment, and Beauty departments. This role partners closely with Merchandising, Divisional, and Operations teams to create customer-centric floor maps that drive engagement and sales while supporting total store events. The Manager ensures seamless end-to-end planning, from quarterly submissions to execution, including inventory tracking, stakeholder alignment, and creation of operational Pocket Guides.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collect, evaluate, and prioritize quarterly submissions for promotional space based on historical performance, current trends, forecasts, and strategic objectives.
  • Leverage data and insights to drive fact-based floor mapping decisions that maximize space productivity.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across Merchandising, Divisional, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team members responsible for promotional inventory tracking and resolution of mapping risks.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of Pocket Guides, ensuring stores have clear direction for execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date store lists and layout modules on a weekly basis.
  • Forecast, analyze, and report on space productivity to inform future planning.
  • Lead follow-up with key stakeholders to address mapping or execution gaps.
  • Contribute to broader promotional programs in alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience in retail operations and/or merchandising planning preferred.
  • Exceptional team player with proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Loblaw systems is an asset.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to optimize merchandising and promotional strategies
