About the Role

Cedarglen Homes is seeking a curious, tech-savvy, and solutions-oriented Technology Intern to join our Systems and Technology team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI, automation, and application development while contributing to real-world projects that support our business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Support AI and automation projects, including chatbot development and app creation using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Collaborate with the Director of Systems and Technology to define and deliver impactful technology initiatives.
• Conduct research into emerging technologies, AI tools, and business applications to support strategic decisions.
• Assist with data entry, cleanup, and minor troubleshooting tasks for internal teams.
• Document processes, including SOPs, training materials, and user guides.
• Gather requirements and feedback from business users to help shape technical solutions.
• Communicate project updates, blockers, and outcomes regularly with the project lead.

Qualifications

• Currently be enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, chatbot frameworks, or cloud technologies is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive and willing to learn new technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with guidance.
